BOOK REVIEW: HARRY POTTER AND THE PHILOSOPHER’S STONE

  • Title: Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone
  • Author: J. K. Rowling
  • Genre: Fantasy
  • My rating (out of 5): ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is the first book in the Harry Potter book series and it is sure to keep you gripped and wanting to read the rest of the series!

The book is about a boy called Harry Potter, who on his 11th birthday learns he is a wizard and is famous amongst the wizarding world! He enrols at ‘Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry’ and it is there that he meets his best friends, his enemies, learns to play Quidditch, explores the magical grounds and begins to learn of his mysterious past and what is in store for his future…

The book takes you to a magical word and leaves you wishing that you weren’t a muggle and that your Hogwarts acceptance letter must have just got ‘lost’ in the post!

I would recommend this book to everyone and especially those who are fans of the film series (as there is a lot more detail in the books that the films miss out)! πŸ§™β€β™‚οΈβš‘
